CORPORATE COMMITMENT TO SCHOOL-BASED MENTORING
Webster is committed to quality school-based mentoring.
Webster Financial supports the Connecticut Mentoring Partnership an initiative,
sponsored by The Governor's Prevention Partnership, through a variety of programs.
These include their internal mentor training programs, mentor screening as well
as providing "My Mentor and Me" guidebooks to mentors and coordinators.
In addition Webster's support also includes a financial donation to each school
in which Webster employees mentor. This nonrestrictive donation is intended to
help each school support its mentoring program. Sixty schools throughout Connecticut
received donations this year.
