2007 CORPORATE HONOR ROLL
Companies that meet at least three of the following criteria will be selected
for membership in the Corporate Honor Roll:
- The CEO formally commits to involve his/her company in youth mentoring
- The CEO and/or at least one member of the senior management is a mentor
- The company has established a policy regarding employee release time for mentoring
- The company has designated an employee who oversees internal coordination of the program
- The company has formed a mentoring alliance with a school or school district, which focuses on academic success, self-esteem, character development, school-to-career and/or workforce development
- At least 10 employees or 1% of the company workforce, (whichever is larger) are involved in mentoring

We Honor Corporations for their Commitment to Mentoring
Lt. Governor Michael Fedele joined The Governor's Prevention Partnership in honoring 100 companies for the significant investment
they make in mentoring Connecticut youth at the 7th annual Corporate Honor Roll breakfast, "Spotlight on Partners in Mentoring" during National Mentoring Month.
Keynote speakers at the event included Lt. Governor Fedele, Michael A. Jefferson,
chairperson of the African-American Affairs Commission and Dr. Susan Weinberger,
founder and president of the Mentor Consulting Group.
