OUR PROGRAMS
The Governor's Prevention Partnership provides the leadership and resources to
assist 387 schools, 249 community organizations, 93 businesses throughout Connecticut
in powerful efforts to keep Connecticut's kids safe, successful and drug-free.
We reach millions of individuals through out media campaigns and tens of thousands
of adults and youth through programs we help build and strengthen with local partners.
We lead in prevention work related to mentoring, underage drinking, high-risk
behavior among youth and college students, Student Assistance Programs and more.

Campus Partnership - Helping college and university campuses develop programs to reduce high-risk
drinking, drug use, and the negative consequences of high-risk behavior
Underage Drinking Prevention - Helping local communities build coalitions and programs to address underage
drinking
Connecticut Mentoring Partnership - Increasing the number of youth who have the caring support of a mentor
Media Partnership - Delivering anti-drug messages through the media
Safe and Drug-Free Schools & Communities - Helping schools develop and implement effective drug and violence prevention
programming including Student Assistance Programs, bullying, conflict resolution
and peer mediation programs
