2017-2018 Training Guide

Do you want to improve your professional skills? Do you want new tips and strategies to ensure positive youth outcomes? Do you believe that professional development is key to program sustainability and success?

The Governor's Prevention Partnership is delighted to announce the release of its Training Guide for the 2017-2018 year. The Guide is a comprehensive list of all scheduled trainings in the areas of mentoring, substance abuse prevention and bullying prevention. These include both trainings that are site-based and in webinar format.

The cost-effective trainings serve as a wide range of professional development opportunities. If you are a mentoring director, prevention specialist, educator, youth worker, police officer, parent, or adult caregiver, these workshops are for you. They include how parents can support their own children and how professionals can do the best job possible to support the youth with whom they work.

The topics of this year's trainings are based on input and feedback from many program providers who identified what they need to ensure positive youth outcomes. The best news is that The Partnership offers a certificate of attendance for Continuing Education Units (CEU), Prevention Credits and Post-C Credits for Law Enforcement personnel.

Check out the Guide today and sign up before the stated deadlines. For more information, call (860) 523-8042.
